Checking confirmation of order after order submission
The following provides guidance on what to expect after you’ve placed an order for Bidfood.

Important Notes
Please do not sent your delivery notes into head office, these are no longer required.
Please remember MINIMUM order value is £175.
If you can manage with only 1 delivery per week, please do so.

1. Locating the order you would like to check the confirmation for.
After submitting an order, you should receive and order confirmation within the hour.
To check this, open the Kitchen Manager dashboard, select the Orders icon.


Locate the order you want to check the delivery confirmation for.

Select the order line, then select “Confirmation”.

2. Checking the order confirmation
In the order confirmation list:
Items lines in green will indicate that Bidfood has accepted this item and should be able to deliver it on the date requested.
Item lines in red are out of stock items that cannot be delivered on the date requested.
If a substitution has automatically been made, you will see additional items in the list you did not order, example below showing out of stock “Seabrook Crips” being replaced with “Walkers Crips”. During delivery, please follow the delivery sign off user guide and confirm that the substituted items have been sent to you.


Note: Auto substitutions are not made for most items, the catering Team receive a report of items which have been ordered but are out of stock. There is no need to call into head office unless the item is critically urgent.
