During the stock take, please confirm if the stock you have is Brakes stock.
If it is stock from Brakes then it will either need to be transferred to Bidfood and then deleted e.g. Herbs, spice (slow moving items).
Or if it cannot be transferred, please use up asap.
Check what Brakes Items are currently showing as in my stock take
1. Sign into the tablet.
2. Open Kitchen Manager
3. Select the Stocktake app.
4. Select the 3 dots in the top right.
5. Select by supplier.
6. Select Brakes Food.
7. Select the 3 dots in the top right then Expand, this will make it easier to see the individual items in the category's.
8. You should now see a list of itemised Brakes Stock that is being reported against your kitchen.
9. Please check through each item, ensure that the item on the Cypad is in your kitchen.
If you do not have it, mark the New value as 0.
To do this:
a) Select the 0 value in the New column
b) Select the 0 value, then select Ok.
c) The item line will go blue to indicate the updated 0 value.
Transfer slow moving items e.g. herbs and spices to Bidfood
1. Find the item in the Brakes Food stock list.
Example below, Ground Cinnamon
2. Make note of the item size and stock value underneath the item name, e.g. Ground Cinnamon is supplied from Brakes in a 450G container and currently showing as 0.5 stock.
3. Press the back arrow on the Cypad to return to the suppliers list.
4. Select the appropriate Bidfood supplier, as Ground Cinnamon is a food item select Bidfood - Food
5. Items may be in different category's in Bidfood (Baking ingredients rather than Sugars and seasonings), use the search bar at the top to search for the item. In this example Ground Cinnamon.
6. Check the item size below the item name, in the case on Ground Cinnamon the items come in the same pack 450G.
7. Transfer the Brakes stock to the Bidfood Stock.
i. Add the Old Brakes stock to the New Bidfood stock, in the below example 0.5 of a 450G bottle plus (+) 0.75 of a 450G bottle, 0.5+0.75=1.25
ii. Enter the added values (in this case 1.25) into the New column in the Bidfood stock list.
iii. The value in the New column should now show the added stock.
iv. Press the back arrow on the Cypad.
v. Select Brakes from the supplier list.
vi. Find the item you have just copied over into Bidfood, select the 0 in the New column.
vii. Enter 0 for the amount and select Ok.
8. Repeat all steps in Step 7 for all slow moving items you have.
9. Once the Stocktake is complete, navigate back to the suppliers list by using the back arrow on the Cypad.
10. Complete the Stock take by selecting the 3 dots in the top right then selecting Complete Stocktake.
11. Confirm the Stocktake by selecting Yes.
12. The device should now automatically start syncing, the stocktake has now been completed.
